For his performance at the 2011 MTV VMA’s, Pitbull engaged the help of veteran laser light show company YLS Entertainment out of California.

Pitbull’s crew asked the team at YLS to give them that “big beam” look for the show, so that the lasers would fill the room and really stand out. So Marty Canavan and the team at YLS used four twelve watt green YAG lasers, all controlled using Pangolin’s award winning LD2000 laser system.

YLS made six – two beam positions coming from four separate tables, using a very fast chase. This elegant laser design helped Pitbull’s performance at the MTV Video Music captivate the audience, and has people still talking about the show.
